Muhammad Angga Muttaqien (Angga) is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (MEng.) at the University of Tsukuba (筑波大学). He conducts research in the Intelligent Robot Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Akihisa Ohya, as part of the International Special Program of Human-Centered AI, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) of Japan. He also serves as a Research Assistant at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Tokyo, contributing to the national project on addressing the aging society issue in Japan.

Prior to his current roles, he worked for approximately three years as an AI Research Engineer at an AI consulting firm called 株式会社グリッド (GRID Co., Ltd.) in Tokyo. His current research focuses on AI for Robotics and Autonomous Systems, with the goal of advancing Human-Machine cooperation. Beyond his technical interests, He has a strong passion for the history and philosophy of science and technology. He is also deeply interested in mathematics, particularly in its applications to AI and robotics.

Dedicated to Indonesia, he is currently building his vision-first company named Indonesia AI.
